Gyrocompass "Geus"

Gyrocompass "Geus" is designed to fit to a wide variety of sea and river ships, from small workboats to fast ferries and cruise liners. Heading data can be transmitted through Distribution Box or Heading Translator to 14 users in the form of digital, step or synchro signals.
Gyrocompass complies with requirements of IMO A.424(XI), A.82K19), MEC 945-95, ISO 8728-1987. Approved by Maritime Register of Russian Federation.

Gyrocompass provides for the following data:

heading against geographical meridian at the vessel speed up to 90 knots, latitude up to 75 degrees, roll and pitch angles up to 45 degrees;

heading data to analog, digital and step receivers;

information about operation mode and failures.

OUTFIT

MAIN UNIT. Gyrocompass with correction based on dynamically tuned gyroscope is placed into a cylindrical casing with the heading scale at the top. Protection 1P 22. Overall dimensions 240x260 mm. Weight 9.2 kg.

ELECTRONIC UNIT. It generates correction & control signals and secondary voltages for gyroscope. It also converts analog heading into digital code (NMEA0183 RS232/422) and into step voltage (6 step/deg., 24V, Sperry diagram). It is placed into a rectangular casing. Protection 1P 22. Overall dimensions 350x300x200 mm. Weight 13.7 kg.

OPERATOR CONSOLE. It performs control function and displays input and output data. It is placed into a rectangular casing with controls, readiness & failure indicators and display on the front panel. Protection 1P 22. Overall dimensions 265x200x150 mm. Weight 3.7 kg.
